The Children’s Ministry has had a wonderful time exploring the Season of Creation together. Most recently, we enjoyed a sunny morning discovering many different trees and plants around our church grounds — learning their common names, how to recognise them, and a fun fact about each one. It’s amazing to see just how much variety we have right outside our doors! You can take a look at the activity sheet we filled in if you’d like to learn more too.
A couple of weeks earlier, the kids were inspired to make recycling posters following taking part in Keep UH Beautiful. They have even set up a soft plastics recycling space like they have at home, which is now up and running in the kitchen — thanks to Phil for installing the hook!
It’s been a joy to see the children’s enthusiasm for caring for God’s creation and finding practical ways to make a difference
